Senior Chinese political advisor Chen Zongxing met Monday with a Vietnamese delegation of party and government officials in Beijing.
The delegation, which was visiting to discuss administrative experiences, is headed by Nguyen The Trung, member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and deputy head of the body's Commission for Mass Organization.
Chen, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), hailed the development of Chinese-Vietnamese relations and pledged to further ties.
Nguyen The Trung spoke highly of China's economic achievements and the ruling experience of the Communist Party of China, and vowed to promote cooperation between the two neighbors.
