Measures for effective waste treatment management to ensure sustainable development are the major topic of a seminar in Quy Nhon city, the central province of Binh Dinh , on June 15.
The event, jointly held by the Binh Dinh People’s Committee and the Vietnam-Sweden Centre for Environmental Technology Cooperation, drew over 50 experts and representatives from the two countries’ relevant agencies, organisations and businesses.
At the seminar, the participants discussed solutions to transform solid waste into energy and waste management in Vietnam and Binh Dinh province in particular.
Swedish experts introduced clean technologies in solid waste treatment applied in Southern Sweden .
The two sides also touched upon measures to promote the cooperation in energy and waste treatment between Boras city of Sweden and Quy Nhon city./.
