HANOI, July 4 (Xinhua) -- The 11th Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee held here on Monday its second session.
Vietnamese Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong said at the opening meeting that the delegates are scheduled to discuss and decide on the working programs and regulations of the CPV Central Committee, the Political Bureau and the Secretariat, and the Central Supervisory Committee throughout the whole tenure.
Discussion on the amendments to the 1992 Constitution and recommendation of the high-ranking personnel to the state's organizations are also held, among other issues.
The agenda of the session includes major issues of significance that requires appropriate working time and efforts from the delegates so that by the end of the session high-quality and efficient results are achieved in an atmosphere of openness, frankness and with responsibility, Trong said.
The session will last through July 10.
